The international Forum on Production Capacity Cooperation was held in Hubei Province, the central part of the People’s Republic of China, on 5-6 June 2016. The report about Russia’s investment potential was made by Alexey Chepa, a deputy of Party A JUST RUSSIA and a member of its State Duma faction.

Over three hundred enterprises from China, Russia, Byelorussia, Bulgaria and Poland participated in the event. The participants have international experience of cooperation in five areas: infrastructure, power industry, machine building industry, agriculture and agro-processing.

There was given a presentation on the investment opportunities of the regions during the forum, including such regions in Russia as the Moscow, Penza and Vologda Regions as well as of the enterprises from Tatarstan and Chelyabinsk whose representatives were participating in the event. The businessmen had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the priority contracts, outline the ways of development and sign contracts.

In his speech at the forum, Alexey Chepa said: "Our relations with China have been not only of good neighbourhood, but we have also been pursuing the policy of mutually beneficial cooperation. I paid a private visit to China in January 2016 during which I held a working meeting with Hu Yanxin, President of the Economic Cooperation Center (CECC) under the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. We discussed the issues relating to organization of the 7th Forum on support to small and medium-sized businesses in Russia and China, which is to be held in the Russian Federation, and the prospects for further development of the dialogue between the two political parties,".

"China is a priority partner for Russia, and, on my part, I am always ready to give help to the Chinese partners in strengthening our bilateral cooperation. I’d like to invite all concerned to participate in the forum which is to be held in October-November of the current year.
