Sergei Mironov, Chairman of Party A JUST RUSSIA and the Leader of its State Duma faction received a delegation of the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in the Russian Federation. The delegation headed by Kim Hyong Jun, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the RF also included Embassy Counselor Phe Mun Su, and Secretary of the DPRK Embassy to the RF Chen Soon Chol.

Ruslan Tatarinov, the Head of the Central Office of Party AJR and deputies of the AJR SD faction Alexander Romanovich and Alexander Chetverikov also participated in the meeting.

As Sergei Mironov said, meetings with the DPRK representatives at the end of the year have become a good tradition.

Sergei Mironov addressed the delegation members with the following words: "I’d like to start our meeting with the best wishes for Happy New Year. I hope the coming year will be successful and fruitful for the friendly country of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and I also want all our plans come true,"

He also presented a greeting card for Kim Jong-un, the DPRK Leader.

The members of the Embassy delegation expressed their gratitude to Sergei Mironov for finding time to meet with them during such a tense period as the end of the year and in spite of a great amount of work he has. In their turn, they presented Sergei Mironov with a greeting card from the Central Committee of the Labor Party of Korea.

The participants also exchanged their opinions about a wide range of political and economic issues, and discussed the prospects of further party-to-party relations.
