Sergei Mironov, Chairman of Party A JUST RUSSIA and the Leader of the State Duma party faction made comments on a number of tragic events that happened at the beginning of the current year and proved danger of the terrorist threat.

This is about shooting of some of the staff of the Parisian Charlie Hebdo magazine and explosion in Istanbul, and about a terror act in Nigeria committed by a 10-year-old suicide bomber.

"These terror acts prove that terrorism has become world threat number one," the parliamentarian said. "Any terror act has a political basis: the unsolved national and social issues, desire to affect solution of important problems by threats and intimidation. "

According to Sergei Mironov, the most horrible deed that any terror act comes together with is infringement on human life. He stressed that terrorists might declare any goals and offer any explanations of their actions but entirely blameless people die in the result of terror acts.

"Dozens of people killed by terrorists this year, during the period of about two weeks confirm fragility of our world which we must take care of. This task cannot be completed either by each separate state or without joint efforts because terrorism is the foe of all world nations; only a common fight may result in success," he said.

As the JR Chairman said, people would like to believe that those who are busy with playing off one nation against another, one country against another and one political force against another will understand it. They must realize evil character of pursuit of profit under the conditions of a global terror threat.

"There is no time to be slow to act: it is necessary to realize it and start to act. The terrorist statistics of the beginning of 2015 is tragic. It is high time we really got united and took the fight to the terrible enemy. If we not, any reason to justify inactivity and standstill would be useless, the politician summarized.
