Romanovich A.L. was born on 15 October 1952 in Moscow. He graduated from Military Institute of the Ministry of Defence, an interpreter-consultant by profession, speaks French, Portugese, Spanish and English.

Mr. Romanovich holds a Ph.D. in political sciences and defended dissertation Multiplicity as a factor of the political process democratization in Russia. Doctor of Philosophic Sciences. His doctoral dissertation is devoted to The concept of safe development of the socionatural systems. Mr. Romanovich is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) and a Moscow Oblast State Councillor.

Romanovich A.L. is a deputy of the 6th State Duma of RF, a member of the A JUST RUSSIA faction, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.

Mr. Romanovich is a member of the Presidium of the Central Council of Party A JUST RUSSIA, Chairman of the Council of the party regional division in the Moscow Region. Before election to the 6th State Duma of RF, Mr. Romanovich was a Moscow Region Duma deputy and the head of the A JUST RUSSIA faction.

He is the author of many articles and books on the problems of steady development, food and ecological safety. Social and political materials of Mr. Romanovich may constantly be found in media.

He has awards of the USSR Armed Forces. Moscow Patriarch honored Mr. Romanovich with a Diploma of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia For Hard Work to the Glory of the Russian Orthodox Church.
